At Impress we provide metal packaging solutions for consumer goods which are part of everyday life and used by people of all ages. From baby food to soups, from paints to hairspray and from tuna to cappuccino, we play a key role in differentiating our customers' products and bringing value to the consumer.

As an international company we design, make and sell metal cans in steel and aluminium, in a wide variety of shapes and sizes: round, rectangular, shaped, straight sided or conical, printed and unprinted. We also provide many different opening systems, including Easy Open ends in steel and aluminium, and our award-winning Easy Peel® peelable ends for both retortable and dry foods.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary in 2007 and the green & growing® video  and our publication 'green & growing®' show how our youthful approach to business has strong roots from founding canmaking companies of the past and strong leadership today through an experienced and seasoned management team.

Impress is a global market leader in the consumer metal packaging industry. It is the largest supplier of: seafood cans (worldwide), aerosol cans (Europe and Australasia), cans for paints and coatings (Europe) and cans for infant and nutritional milk powders (Europe). Impress is also the second largest supplier of heat processed food cans in Europe and Australasia. Impress is based in Deventer, the Netherlands and had worldwide sales of approximately €1.8 billion in 2008. It employs around 7,600 people in 57 facilities in 22 countries in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the Seychelles and Morocco.

We add value through innovative developments, expertise in can production methods and metal printing techniques, shaping of can bodies and a responsive approach to market needs.

We provide customers with world-class technical development, both from our R&D centre in Crosmières, France and from support groups based in our factories.
