Impress USA, Inc. supplies a wide range of two and three piece cans and ends mainly to the petfood and seafood markets. We are a major manufacturer of Easy Open ends for these markets and are participating in the extension of these ends into new markets such as vegetables, soups and other retorted foods. Pre-distortion and new printing techniques are being used to add value to our products in these segments. In fact, we recently introduced the first commercial, retorted, pre-distorted printed two piece can for the US seafood market.

Our new product development efforts are supported by unique high speed shelf life prediction methods and food technology expertise at the Impress R & D Centre in Crosmières, France.

Impress USA Inc has had a significant presence in North America since 2000 following the acquisition of the StarKist can manufacturing assets from H. J. Heinz Co. Ltd. Our North American business headquarters are in Carnegie, Pennsylvania and we have six manufacturing plants including Blacks Harbour, Canada, acquired in May 2005.

Recently the business has developed shallow drawn cans which are used for portable heating fuel for fondues.
