Dairy & Custom provides a varied portfolio of customized and printed cans for specialized markets such as milk powder, nutritional foods and coffee. The introduction of Easy Peel® and Direct Peel® has brought packaging innovation to these markets and established Impress as the European leader in this sector.

In 2003 Impress acquired the Hjørring plant in Denmark from Nestlé which, with a long-term supply contract, gave Impress leadership in Europe for peelable lids and access to world markets.  Today more than 40% of baby milk powder containers now have Easy Peel® ends.

We have a strong position in niche markets such as beer kegs for in-home use bringing new ideas and technology to this area which requires high quality printing as well as a distinctive shape. Six colour printing presses provide the latest technology to deliver the print designs and quality to meet customer demands. The introduction of the pressurized keg for Heineken has created a new standard in this market.

We have a leading position in the world of cigar tins with hinged lids, produced using the latest in manufacturing lines and supplied to all the leading cigar makers throughout the world.

Decorated tins for biscuits etc. can be embossed to create differentiated shelf appeal.
