To achieve this there are three 'pillars' which uphold our business:
The three 'Ts' underpin all activities from shop floor to supplier and customer relationships. By strong leadership setting clear targets, people of many different nationalities and cultures are able to work together to achieve common goals whilst using their individual talents and skills to the full.
An important body which ensures representation at all levels and provides a means for effective communication is the European Works Council:
European Works Council
During 1998, the European Works Council (''EWC'') was established in compliance with EU directives, to act as a communications channel and consultative body between Impress, our subsidiaries and employees.
The EWC meets at least twice a year, and Impress' senior management attends these general meetings. The EWC has the right to be notified of any special circumstances that would have a major impact on the interests of employees. EWC delegates are elected for four-year terms according to local rules in each country, while the allocation of EWC delegates between countries is governed by Dutch law and currently comprises of 17 members from 8 different countries.
