A new lid that is shaking up the finish paint market
Impress’s Decorative and Protective Finishes division specialises in the paint packaging market. It has just introduced a revolutionary lid featuring the Topfass® closing system that combines elegant packaging with ease of use.
The Topfass® lid eliminates the traditional teeth and flanges that had to be opened and closed one by one. The result is a simplified closing system that makes the product much easier to use. The package can now be closed in one step, by simultaneously applying pressure to the lid’s four corners and the body of the rectangular can.
The Topfass® lid doesn’t leak and its flangefree design offers an even larger printable surface: that means a more secure can for consumers and greater product advertising potential for packagers!
A tradition of innovation
The new Topfass® lid is the result of ongoing efforts by the Impress Group and its DPF division to offer customers packaging solutions that are both practical and unique. Examples include easiertograsp shaped cans, innovative Ultramatt exterior coatings, a sixcolour, stochasticscreen printing process that flawlessly renders shades, and soon, more major innovations in closing systems!
The Topfass® lid was used for the first time by the Leroy Merlin “en Vie” paint line.
