Nestlé sells its Hjoerring Ends and Closures Facility to Impress Group

Nestlé and Impress have completed an agreement for the acquisition by Impress of Nestlé's end-making facility in Hjoerring, Denmark.

The Hjoerring facility is specialised in the manufacture, for the Nestlé Group worldwide, of peelable ends and closures for cans containing Nestlé's powdered milk products. The agreement is linked to a long-term supply contract for the continuing supply of peelable ends and closures to Nestlé operating companies.

Impress is the second largest metal packaging company in the world, , with headquarters in Amsterdam. It has a total turnover of approximately 1,3 billion euros and 7.200 employees. Impress is a global leader in the Seafood can market, European leader in cans for powdered foods and second in the overall European Food can market.
