Syrups shown off in stone finished tinplate container

Heinz has re-launched its Karvan Cévitam fruit syrups products in a shaped can from Impress.

Replacing a straight-walled can, the distortion-printed three-piece container is the result of collaboration between the Impress Research Centre in Crosmières, France, its Dutch factory in Deventer and the Heinz team.
The containers are produced from stone finished tinplate, with pneumatic blowforming tooling specially designed to create a shaped can that stands out on shelf, is easy to grip and convenient to handle.

"Exceptional creative skills and technical know-how were essential ingredients for Impress to produce this outstanding package, which we are confident will drive incremental sales in this market," says Gerald Sturdy, Impress key account manager for Heinz. "From selecting the right metal to ensuring the brand name is registered with the relief feature in the body wall required superb teamwork."
