Impress today completed the acquisition of the Food and Aerosol Can operations in Australia and New Zealand from the Amcor Group.
Seven production facilities have been purchased which supply steel food cans, easy open ends and peelable ends to key food markets including ready meals, dairy, fruit and vegetables as well as steel and aluminium aerosol cans for cosmetics, air fresheners, and insecticides. The operation has an annual sales turnover of approximately €150 million and employs around 600 people.

Following the acquisition Impress will have pro forma annual sales of €1.8 billion, employing approximately 8,600 people in 59 facilities in 21 countries in Europe, North America, Australasia, the Seychelles, Morocco and Japan.
