Impress Merthyr Tydfil Sword of Honour

The high safety standards at Impress's plant at Merthyr Tyd- fil, U.K., were honoured when the plant received the Sword of Honour Award from the British Safety Council (BSC). The award marked the culmination  of the programme of continuous improvement in health and safety, which was adopted in 2006. Under the programme, the plant has implemented safety initiatives from the BSC, and since May 2007 has passed more than 150 employees through a one-day safety training course.
