The lever lid has been the closure of choice for the majority of paint cans over the years. However, even a component that has been tried and tested for so long does not escape Impress' critical appraisal.

After listening to customer requests to improve the ease of opening, we realized that the solution to the problem was not in changing the end but in developing a new ring profile to eliminate damage to the can ring when removing the lid. The exposed raw ring edge is curled into the ring wall making it impossible to hook or snag the ring with a screwdriver during opening. Less force is required to open the can and the lid makes a distinctive ''pop'' sound when opened.

The lid is easier to replace and gives better lid retention reducing the likelihood of paint 'skinning' during storage.

For added convenience and functionality in opening larger paint cans, the new Topfass® lid was developed. This end eliminates the traditional teeth and flanges that had to be opened and closed one by one. The container can be closed in one step and the flange-free design offers an even larger printable surface.

Peel & Paint™ is an opening and resealing system based on Easy Peel® technology and a plastic cap. This system is available in 99mm diameter containers with fill volumes of 0.5 ltr, 0.75 ltr and 1 ltr
