Easy Open ends have revolutionized the can market since being introduced four decades ago by Pechiney, one of Impress' founding companies.  Such is the convenience and reliability of these ends that the can opener is now relegated to the bottom drawer in the kitchen.

Whilst we continue major development programmes to reduce costs and improve the sustainability of Easy Open ends through lower gauge metals and to further improve openability by technical and process advances, other Impress ends also play their part in differentiation and enhanced ease of use for the consumer:

Partial aperture openings have been developed for liquid products such as evaporated milk; our range of Easy Peel® Ends brings added convenience to an increasingly wide variety of products, both dry and processed; Direct Peel® ends provide even more cost effective solutions for dry powdered products.
